Being the Grinch of Valentine’s, I never enjoyed celebrating such overrated and highly commercialized holiday. But don’t worry, I won’t write about explaining why I despise the day, but share a worthy post on something I got this year instead…
This year, one of the many surprises O got me was a Wishing Love Pearl he bought from his recent trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
He also got my office mate, MJ, the same thing for Valentine’s for being my best work friend! :”> Isn’t he the sweetest? (CHOSSS!) Two instant girlfriends for a day! HAHAHA
Remember the kind of buzz that kicks in when you were a little kid and would have to put bits and pieces of whatnot together to assemble a Barbie playhouse or a remote control car or whatever new toy? It absolutely felt like the same buzz when MJ and I were trying to figure out the package together during our morning break (day after Valentine’s).
Following the instructions that came with the package:
Step 1: Pull out the can from the box. Du’oh.
Step 2: Make a wish before opening the can.
Step 3: Open the can. Throw the liquid out and crack the clam open.
Step 4: Take the pearl out of the clam and wash it.
Refer to the box to identify what the pearl represents according to it’s color.
I got a white pearl for health which is perfect for my frail lifestyle. HAHAHA
Step 5: Place the pearl inside the pendant that comes with the package.
Et Voila! :)
Matching white wishing love pearl necklaces for MJ and I! HOW KYOOOTTT IS THAT?!? :”> Hihihi It’s a cute romantic Valentine’s day gift and a friendship necklace all rolled into one! :D
What makes it really fun, cute, and romantic are the elements and experience of putting the entire gift together.
And I must commend someone’s effort in converting, or at least for trying to convert me from being the Grinch of V-day to a cheesy little girl. Good job! HAHAHA :))
Anyhoo, hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s day! ♡♡♡ If you didn’t, there’s always next year! :) - Wow, this coming from me. :| HAHAHA
This post is dedicated to yOu, by the way. Thank you for putting up with my stubborn, fickle, demanding, and difficult self. ♥
